All proceeds from the annual VNSA Used Book Sale benefit human service agencies in Maricopa County. Since the first sale in 1957, VNSA has returned more than $10 million to local nonprofit organizations in our community. The proceeds of the 2024 Book Sale will benefit the following local human service agencies:

Duet was started in 1981 as a non-profit, interfaith organization that promotes health and well-being through its vitally needed, free-of-charge services to homebound adults, family caregivers, faith communities, and grandfamilies. Learn more

Founded in 1998, Phoenix Conservatory of Music (PCM) provides a continuum of high-quality music education and experiences to nearly 2,000 students annually. Programs range from introductory-level, in-house education and after-school programs, to more advanced private lessons. Learn more

Literacy Volunteers of Maricopa CountyLITERACY VOLUNTEERS OF MARICOPA COUNTY

LVMC strives to empower adults in our community to become better candidates for sustainable employment, participate in higher education or job training, and improve their quality of life.

The majority of LVMC’s students receive instruction by attending one of LVMC’s two Learning Centers that offer comprehensive services including computer-based instruction, small classes, and one-to-one tutoring.  LVMC also offers a distance learning program for individuals who cannot attend a learning center. Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation ARIZONA FRIENDS OF FOSTER CHILDREN FOUNDATION

AFFCF relies entirely on community donations to promote the education, self-esteem, and enrichment of children in foster care in Arizona. AFFCF funds social, educational, and athletic activities that provide children with quality experiences while they live in difficult circumstances. Since 1984, AFFCF has awarded more than $15 million to more than 87,000 children in foster care in Arizona.
